I have used this recipe for many years. I may have originally gotten it from the Enchanted Broccoli Forest Cookbook but I am not sure. I've made it so many times I no longer refer to the recipe. smile.gif

3 cups fresh basil leaves
3-4 large garlic cloves
1/3 cup lightly toasted pine nuts or walnuts
1/3 cup olive oil
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
salt and pepper


Mince basil and garlic in food processor.

Add nuts and mince some more.

Drizzle oil in as machine is running.

When you have a smooth paste transfer to bowl.

Stir in cheese, salt, and pepper.
