Sausage Casserole

4 slices bread (I used Pepperidge Farm stone ground whole wheat)
1 pound bulk sausage (I used Jimmy Dean / 50% less fat)
1 cup grated Cheddar cheese (I used Kraft fat-free)
6 eggs
2 cups milk (I used fat-free milk)
1 teaspoon salt
dash of pepper

13x9x2 pan

Tear up bread and place in greased pan. (I sprayed pan with Pam). Brown and drain sausage. Spoon sausage over bread. Sprinkle with cheese. Beat together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour over mixture in casserole. Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes.

Serves 6 to 8

This is good leftover and heated in microwave.
