1/4 cup butter
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp red pepper
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp chili powder
3/4 Tbs dry mustard
2 Tbs vinegar
1/2 tsp tobasco
1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup water
1 Tbs chopped onion
1 clove garlic

Mix in measuring cup, microwave until it boils, let it sit 5 minutes, microwave again until it boils again. Paint liberally on chicken before cooking and before and after turning on the grill, usually about three times.

For use in the oven: brown the chicken in the butter, increase water to 1 cup, pour over chicken and bake at 325? for 1 hour.

This sauce is very thin, and not sticky. It does have a little zip, decrease the red pepper and tobasco if it's too hot for your taste.

I also use this sauce on pork, particularly country ribs.

Michelle, here is another easy bbq sauce. It is not from scratch but it uses the new
carb options bbq sauce and the ketchup. Which are both very good.

10 oz diet pepsi
1 cup of carb options bbq
1 cup of ketchup

You fix this on top of the stove. Put ingredients in a telflon pan . Add chicken.
Cook over medium heat for 1 hour. Chicken is so tender and delicious.
