SOUTHWEST CHICKEN WRAP

CHICKEN CLUB WRAP
Green Leaf Lettuce, Dijon Honey Mustard Sauce 5, Diced Grilled Chicken 51, Shredded Cheddar Cheese 12, Pepper Bacon, Tomato, Whole Wheat Tortilla 15: CONTAINS 21 g NET CARBS: Serving Weight (g): 321, Calories: 680, Calories from Fat: 350, Fat-Total (g): 38, Saturated Fat (g): 14, Cholesterol (mg): 100, Sodium (mg): 1800, Total Carbohydrates (g): 52, Dietary Fiber (g) 30, Sugars (g): 8, Protein (g): 43, Vitamin A (% RDI): 20, Vitamin C (% RDI): 20, Calcium (% RDI): 50, Iron (% RDI): 15.

So I was right.. The sugars blow you right out of the water. And i would bet that it is the sauce that makes it that way. The one I had tasted too sweet and I even scraped some of it off (because it was TOO sweet).. But now I do feel bad. (and angry that they dont' have more options for people who don't want to kill themselved by eating at a fast food rest. I didn't have a choice, but still.... )

So, there you have it.. I have vented. I feel better now..

We were traveling yesterday (from Alabama to Maryland - 12 hours!) and in that kind of situation, fast food is sometimes the only option. I (amazingly!) managed to stay legal with eggs and bacon from the Shoney's breakfast bar, then a small Wendy's chili for lunch. Probably with the Arby's wraps it's best to order them without any spread or condiment. I'd bet money there is added sugar in those. And why is there SO MUCH sodium!? That will kill ya if the sugar doesn't! (IMG:http://www.sugarbustersforum.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:http://www.sugarbustersforum.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

And the calories! 710 calories in a WRAP? If I'm going to consume 710 calories in 1 meal, it's sure not going to come from a WRAP! (IMG:http://www.sugarbustersforum.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Yeah, tell me about it. I know the sauce had the sugar in it. And some of the Sodium. Mine had bacon on it, so that may have contributed to the high sodium. It was good tasting, but I won't be doing that again. And it really made me mad because I had done so good.

Sometimes, you have to take the lesser of 2 evils, and you ordered that wrap with the best of intentions. It's not your fault that hidden sugars, etc. existed. Don't beat yourself up, and just mark this down as "won't do that again"! I remember when I was pregnant, I had gotten the Market Fresh BLT thinking I had gotten something healthy. I looked on the website that evening to see the calorie count on it, and it was 950 calories! (IMG:http://www.sugarbustersforum.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) I almost fainted, especially since I'd eaten the entire thing! So, don't feel too bad.

thanks for the info on the Arby's Fresh Market BLT. It is my 2nd favorite thing there, the first being the beef n cheddar (I don't get it very often anymore). But I thought I was doing pretty good with the BLT, but that is awful! I never thought about it. Guess I will be staying out of Arby's, at least not going as much.

I always stick to the salads...I love their salads but I never got on the website to check the content. Maybe they're not so healthy after all?? (IMG:http://www.sugarbustersforum.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Uggghhhh....I just had one of these yesterday.... (IMG:http://www.sugarbustersforum.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

I found this forum while looking up the Arby Chicken Wraps....I knew they were "LOADED" but I thought they were awesome...guess I won't be having another one of those anytime soon...~wink~

Now if I could only cut out the Morning Dew (Mountain Dew). Sigh.....

Thanks Cinderalla for the awesome nutritional info on these wraps...It saved me the time finding it myself...=D
