Does anyone have the first sugar buster book, with the Chocolate mouse recipe. I made it once and it was delicious, but lost the recipe. Thanks,

kathi eh,

Just a quick addition to the recipe. When you make a custard (that's sort of what this is, the cream and egg mixture), you need to be careful not to scramble the eggs when you add them to the hot cream. To prevent this, you should temper the egg mixture. This is done by adding a small amount of the hot cream to the egg and coffee mixture (I'd mix these before adding to the cream). This raises the temperature of the egg mixture and dilutes it with some cream. Then, add the egg mixture back to the rest of the hot cream. No scrambled eggs in the mixture then.
