Lately I've seen a few articles in the paper (Washington Post; Washington Times) about high fructose corn syrup and how the "obesity epidemic" has corresponded with its increased use by manufacturers. Well, duh!!

The articles traced HFCS's use and increased use through the 80s and 90s and featured graphs of adults' average weight. Now I can don't know about y'all, but finding HFCS in
everything is a particular pet peeve of mine!

From what I've read in the first ed of the SB book, it shoots your blood sugar through the roof. I'm posting this because I thought y'all would be interested in the fact that researchers, nutritionists, et al, are beginning to take a long hard look at this ubiquitous sweetner.
