1 large sweet onion...(Vadalia, Texas Sweet etc)
2 large granny smith apples, peeled
1/2 cup apple juice
2 Tbsp butter
Half and then quarter apples and then slice them. Julienne the onion.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the apples and onions cooking them until they become translucent and begin to carmelize.??

Deglaze the pan with the apple juice. Allow the juice to reduce a bit.

Serve warm with pork roast or chops.
