This one of my favorite soups ... especially once there is a crisp touch of Autumn in the air. I serve it piping hot in mugs for my guests. They always rave over it.

1 can Pumpkin
2 cups chicken broth
1 whole garlic clove
1 teaspoon curry powder -- `
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 cup cream
1 teaspoon chopped chives

Place pumpkin, 2/3 c. of the cream and all of the remainng ingredients (except the chives) into blender or food processor and whirl for a few seconds.

Pour into microwave or regular pan and cook on low until hot,

Add salt and pepper and last of the cream and stir lightly.

Serve topped with chives.
