Can this be made without the bread machine? If so, how would I mix them up correctly? Thanks.

WARM water, butter, salt & yeast-----mix
then add your flour & oatmeal.
maybe bake at 375-400 degrees for 40-50 min.
you can try doing a SEARCH for whole wheat bread to see if you can find directions for baking.
good luck!

If you can find the King Arthur brand of flour they have a recipe on the 100% Stone Ground Whole Wheat flour bag that was pretty good---only thing was it called for honey, I used it this time but will use Agave as a substitute the next time. Wanted to make it like the recipe said the first time so I would know what to expect the next time, with the texture. I'm VERY new to baking bread. I don't have a bread machine either and this gave manual directions. You should check out the kingarthurflour.com website---it has lots of helpful tips on substituting flours. HAPPY BAKING!!!!!!
