I love this on waffles or pancakes....

3 cups sliced fresh strawberries
3 tablespoons splenda
2 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate
1/4 teaspoon rum flavor
1 stick of butter, softened

Puree strawberries, splenda, and orange concentrate in a blender.

Transfer the mixture to a heavy saucepan and simmer uncovered for about 20 minutes to reduce the amount of liquid and concentrate the flavors.

Add the rum flavor and butter. Refrigerate the fruit butter. (Keeps for five to seven days. )
