1 whole chicken, cut up and skin removed
1 large onion, sliced thinly into rings
2 28-oz cans crushed tomatoes
1/4 cup fresh basil, finely minced
Coarse ground Pepper to taste

1 pound of cooked Low-GI spaghetti
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Place chicken pieces in a baking pan or casserole dish.

Arrange onion rings on top of chicken.

Cover chicken with crushed tomatoes.

Sprinkle with basil and pepper.

Bake at 375 for one hour and 20 minutes.

Serve over cooked spaghetti with parmesan cheese
