It seems the new craze is the Perricone Promise diet by Nicholas Perricone, M.D.

I personally have not read the book but from what I have heard and seen it appears to be basically a fusion of SB and a low-glycemic diet (or to put it simply, eating healthy).

I have been eating this way for years. It isn't very difficult to take the "lower your sugar" component of SB and the general "eat low GI foods" component of a low glycemic diet and come out with a healthy, easy WOE (diet).

I guess someone just decided to put it on paper and make money off of it.
