LaLa .... this is a good basic smoothie recipe where you can sub any of the fruits you want. Strawberry & Cantaloupe is good. I also like to use HoneyDew Melon or Raspberries or Blackberries. It's a good way to get in some blueberries- a
blue smoothie is pretty cool looking. And blue berries are sooooo good for you. Just experiment and find your own favorites!

I made the smoothie today and it was wonderful! But I used light n healthy orange juice by tropicana and I think it was the orange juice that was leaving a kinda peppery taste in my mouth. I am not sure tho. Do you think it would be okay to substitute the oj for 2% milk?

I would use regular unsweetened OJ instead of the light stuff ... i think the light is too processed and has a strange after taste.

OMG Molly! I made this smoothie this mornig to eat with my cheerios and I have drank it all already and i just looked at your post and it says that it makes 4 servings! Talk about fighting with portion control! I will have to 1/4 that recipe so that I wont overload on dairy and not lose weight!
