Cabbage, Sausage & Beef Goulash
1 pound pork sausage
1 pound ground beef
1 onion -- chopped
28 ounces chopped tomatoes
6 ounces tomato paste
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
10 cups shredded cabbage
In a large kettle, brown sausage, beef and onion; drain well.
Add remaining ingredients except cabbage, mix well.
Stir in cabbage and simmer 20-25 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
molly's note: sometimes I stir a little sour cream into this right before serving- yum!
