Chicken Vegetable Alfredo Soup
About 4 servings

1 cup chopped broccoli
1 14 oz can chicken broth
? cup chopped carrots
2 cups diced cooked chicken
? cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon snipped basil
? cup diced bell pepper (I prefer red)
1 16 oz jar Alfredo sauce
1 clove garlic, chopped
grated parmesan cheese

Put vegetables in soup pot, add broth and bring to a boil.

Cover, reduce heat to medium and simmer 5 minutes or until
vegetables begin to get tender.

Add chicken, basil and Alfredo sauce.

Simmer for 5 minutes.

This soup sounds wonderful but I do question the carrots. I am fairly new to this woe but I thought carrots were illegal.
Please respond.
Carrots were retested a few years back and found to be OK in moderate portions. There is only half a cup in the whole recipe so it should be fine.

I have tried this one and it is great!! I have gotten a few recipes off of this site here...

It is good to have something hot in the tummy when the weather is so crazy cold. Thanks for the recipe Molly.

I love soup especially in teh winter. I made a crock pot full of Ham and Bean soup yesterday and will eat off of it all week I imagine. Glad you enjoyed teh Alfredo soup. Its one of my favs.
