Here is a meat loaf recipe that a friend and I adapted to sugarbusters. Baking in muffin tins helps with proper portioning. It is a hit with both of our families, its really moist! You can omit the bacon, although it is only one slice, and it adds another layer of tasty to this dish!

3/4 pound ground beef
3/4 pound ground sausage
2 beaten Eggs
3/4 Cup Milk
1/4 cup finely chopped onion (i use dehydrated onions, and rehydrate them in water for 10 minutes)
1/2 cup finely crushed "original" Trisquits
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp ground black Pepper
1/2 tsp Ground Sage
1 slice bacon (cut into small bits with scissors)

In bowl combine eggs and milk. Stir in trisquit crumbs, onion, salt, sage and pepper. Add sausage first and work in with hands until loose. Add ground beef next and mix only to thoroughly combine. DO NOT OVER MIX. Use a spoon or ice cream scoop to fill muffin tins. Fill to just below the top of tins. Add a few pieces of bacon to top of each "muffin". Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Makes about 12 muffins. Enjoy!
