I am looking for a recipe for Chicken and Rice soup, using brown rice. I probably could just use the one I have using white rice, but sub. with the brown, but not sure what I would need to do - should I use more or less brown rice or should it cook longer. Guess I could just experiment, but would be so much faster and easier if someone has a recipe for me - Thanks

Just use the same recipe and sub brown for the white rice (equal). You do need to cook the brown rice a little longer though. I think someone once mentioned about 10-15 minutes longer.

Thanks, that's what I will do. My husband had some of this soup at Cracker Barrel yesterday, I took a taste and it was so very good, so thought I would try and make it SB acceptable.
